On June 29, 2008, Jessica Shearer, age 13 (right), met Gloria Lenhoff at The Zoo in Louisville, KY.  Jessica was accompanied by her brother, Jonathon, and her mom, Shawn Hensen.  Gloria was accompanied by her cousins, Gary & Cindy Rubin. They were in awe of the gorillas and, as shown above, they enjoyed feeding the lorikeets.  Jessica had never before met anyone else with Williams Syndrome and she had a ton of questions for Gloria, who was more than happy to answer them.  Gloria even sang a couple of songs for Jessica on this beautiful, sunny day.   They became instant friends and are already trying to plan their next get-together.  (Gary Rubin photos)
