Hannah Gadlage lives in Corydon, Indiana. She was born in January, 1995, and was diagnosed shortly before her 2nd birthday. She loves music, singing, dancing, books, computers, swimming, jumping (we can't drive past those inflatable jumping rooms) and much, much more. Her favorite color is green.

She's never met a stranger and knows more people than her Mom and Dad. (In fact, most people know us as "Hannah's Parents.") She is entering the Fifth Grade (08/2006) and enjoys being in a regular classroom with all her classmates. She uses a resource teacher in the classroom to help focus her attention and further explain some concepts.

She reads well and knows more Spanish than her parents. Her favorite place to eat is a Mexican restaurant where she can speak Spanish with the waiters.

Hannah had open heart surgery in February, 2005 to correct her SVAS, and underwent open spine surgery to correct a tethered spinal cord in September, 2005. She sailed through both, and was a gracious host even when she was in pain.

She loves everyone and is loved by everyone she meets. Hannah is a very special person and she has a way of making everyone else feel special, too. She also has a keen sense of those people who need special attention and gives them that attention. She has a unique connection to God and touches people's hearts in a very special way.

When we grow up, we want to be just like Hannah.
