Brittany's Annual 5K Walk/Run and Family Picnic for Williams SyndromeDate: Saturday, May 23rd, 2009 Location: Coshocton Lake Park, Picnic Shelter #4 Directions: Take SR16 East - this becomes US36 in Coshocton. Turn Left at SR83 N. (2nd light past Roscoe Village). Coshocton Lake Park is on the left. Takes about 35 minutes from Newark. Fundraiser is a 5K Walk/Run that begins at 8 a.m. Donations can be given and either cheer the participants or enter the event with a $20.00 registration fee. All WS participants are "hosts" of the event. A family picnic/social will follow the Walk/Run. B-B-Que begins at 11:00 a.m. Hamburgers and hot dogs provided. Please bring Covered dish, lawn chairs, and drinks. Games such as Corn Hole, water balloon toss, etc. will be present. Lake Park has a beautiful playground. Fun Pool with tube slides and jungle gym in the water. Roscoe Village is nearby with Canal Boat rides, bicycle paths, and paddle boats. Let’s all support this event – If you want to register for the 5K Walk/Run, please call Nanci Rogers at (740) 502-3818 and she’ll send you a registration form. If you can’t be there for the Walk/Run, please come for the family picnic/social that starts at 11:00. Looks like there are lots of fun activities available for all ages. See you there!
