bono counsel for NOGUNS (Networks Organized for Gang Unity
and Neighborhood Safety) anti-gang and anti-violence

Kay Bernon,
Vice-President, Fund-Raising (1998- present):
President of the Board of Trustees and Coordinator of the
newly formed Berkshire Hills Music Academy, Inc.
(1998-present). Co-Chair of Organizing Committee for WSA
convention in Boston, 1990; experienced fund-raiser for
Boston charities. Kay and Peter's son, Charles Daniel, was
born on October 11, 1983.

Dr. Howard Lenhoff,
Trustee:
Author of textbook, Conception to Birth and
of many lay articles on Williams syndrome. Experienced in
evaluating research grants in the biomedical sciences for
the National Science Foundation (NSF). Developed
methods for teaching music to Williams people. Principal
Investigator of NSF research grant dealing with Music
Cognition and Williams Syndrome, 1996-1998.
President of the WSF, 1993-1995, Executive Vice President
of the WSF 1997-1999 and former Board member of the WSA.
Howard and Sylvia's daughter, Gloria, was born on February
11, 1955.
Robert
Costello, Trustee:
WSF President, 1997 - 1999.
Retired Business Executive for the Pharmacia &
Upjohn Company (pharmaceuticals). Attended the Williams
Syndrome Music and Arts Camp, 1996, 1997 and 1998 with his
wife Elizabeth, and daughter, Meghan, born on September 2,
1976. Elizabeth was elected to the Board of Directors of
the Williams syndrome Association in the fall of 1998.
Harriet Lawson,
Trustee
Teacher; Senior housing manager for Elderly Housing
Management; Liaison for the government regulatory agencies
on the ADA; Property developer. Currently managing The
Lawson Group, an asset management company. President of the
Farmington Valley ARC: began opening group homes for adults
with disabilities. On Board of Directors of the Connecticut
ARC. Trustee of the Berkshire Hills Music Academy. Mother
of Christian (b. March 2, 1974), who has Williams syndrome.
William Palmer,
Trustee:
William Palmer is editorial director of Masonry
Construction magazine, a trade magazine with circulation of
40,000. A registered professional engineer (structural), he
worked for nonprofits for over 10 years and was executive
director of The Masonry Society. He lives in Lyons,
Colorado with his wife Wynne and their daughter Autumn
(born in 1990) who has WS. Bill was on the board of
directors of the Williams Syndrome Association from 1993 to
1995.
Bruce Walsh, Trustee:
Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Bruce is a Technical Sales
Representative for Advanced Dynamics Corporation Ltd. He
has attended the WS Music & Arts Camp at Belvoir Terrace
for several years with his wife Nancy and daughter Lisa
(born October 23, 1978), who has Williams Syndrome.
They are members of the Williams Syndrome Association,
Canadian Association for Williams Syndrome, and West Island
Association of Intellectually Handicapped.. Bruce is
responsible for maintaining liaison between the WSF and WS
organizations throughout the world.
